I live on the farm I grew up on, and in the house I was born in. Which is quite unusual in this day and age. I have been a "professional writer" since 1973, when Hoard's Dairyman magazine accepted my first story, and editor Gene Meyer created a new column for me—"Jottings in a Dairyman's Journal."
